New HTML Primer Format

Hi,

Just want to congratulate you on the new HTML Primer format. You did a really nice job.
I wrote the original tutorials for HTML Primer in 1997. I called it HTML 4 Rookies and hosted it on Geocities. Later, David Martin from Cedant Hosting offered to buy the site content. I didn't feel much like selling my "baby" at the time, so I declined. I did, however, accept his offer of free hosting and domain name in exchange for advertising spots on the site. That's when we changed the name to HTML Primer - a name I never liked but which David was persuaded would do better in the search engines.
Later on, while I was in college and facing a bleak Christmas with no presents for the kids, I offered to sell HTML Primer to David, and he accepted. It was a good deal for everyone, especially my kids, who got bicycles that year.
I understand that David sold the site when he sold his hosting company.
I've dropped in from time to time, and noted how utterly dated the original tutorials were now, so am thrilled to see that they have been rewritten and wiki-ized!
Excellent job, you guys. You got the big Griz Stamp of Approval.

Thank you for the kind

Thank you for the kind words, sir. And here we have the lost first chapter of the history of the HTML Primer... :) You have my promise that the team here will work hard to improve further on that legacy and keep the site kicking and teaching people how to write pages in the new millennium.
Regards,
Jordan
